How does GPS tracking work?

Our walkers check-in /check-out of each walk though our Company Portal system. Once the walk is complete you can view the time, duration, map of route and walker comments, along with a few adorable pictures in your client portal online or though the Time to Pet App.

Why we use a 2 hr window for walks?

We are dedicated to the health and safety of every animal in our care. We do our best to get to every client on time, but emergency situations can occur. We give our clients a two hour window of expected time of arrival to ensure quality care for each individual pet.

Why must I provide 2 sets of keys?

One set will be with your assigned walker and the other set will be kept at the office for emergencies. In case of emergency (i.e. walker's car breaks down, car accident or any other unforeseen situation) your dog can be walked on time by another team member. At anytime you wish to have your keys returned, we can drop them off to you or send them back via certified / insured mail, for an additional fee. Clients who do not wish for us to retain their keys can use access key pads or a lock box on door, providing us with the code. We can also come let you in the event that you lock yourself out of your home, fee will apply. 

What if there is inclement weather?

We walk rain or shine! However, severe heat, severe cold, storms, icy road, snow, etc. are all considered inclement weather. During inclement weather situations, our midday walks are restricted to short potty breaks and indoor play. Schedules may be altered in order to get to each client. We ask clients to understand that we will use our best judgment concerning your pet's well-being when dealing with these conditions.

Who provides Insurance & Bonding?

We are happy to provide you with our policy information upon request. We always recommend that you ask for proof of insurance regardless of which dog walker you choose. We carry insurance adequate to appropriately cover our client's home and pets while under our care.

This includes Care, Custody and Control Insurance in addition to General Liability and Bonding. Insurance & Bonding provided by Pet Sitters Associates.

Policies

Trial Period

Our goal is to keep your dog and ourselves safe at all times. The temperament of each animal, regardless of prior history, will be evaluated at the initial consultation and up to one week after. This helps us determine temperament, habits, and play styles and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on that basis. You know your dog best; so please inform us if you have any doubts about his/her ability to handle strangers or other animals.

Payments

Payment for booked services is accepted though your Client Portal online or using the Time to Pet App. We currently only accept ACH Bank Transfers though the Client Portal. Cash or check are also accepted. Payment for scheduled walks are due prior to the first day of service. Payments can be paid on a weekly (Monday - Friday) or Monthly* (4 week) basis.

*Monthly payments - must schedule 5 walks per week.

Scheduling

Please contact us or submit service requests through your Client Portal online or though the Time to Pet App at least 24 hours prior to services needed.

Cancellation Policy

All Services are planned in advance so we ask that you give us enough notice to make adjustments to our routes. Please call, text, or email us to be sure your cancellation is confirmed.

Holiday Policy

All services scheduled on Federal Holidays are subject to an additional fee. All walks scheduled on Federal Holidays MUST be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. If less than 2 weeks in advance, service may be denied.
